One more about biopsies...

I've had 2-- first one in '95 and they admitted me to a regular room

at the hospital, though expected to let me go home that day-- which

they did.

I had local and conscious sedation then and again in 2006-- but the

second time they admitted me to a " day " room, watched me for a few

hours, and released me. I just took a nap til it was time to leave.

Both times it felt like I got hit in the ribs with a sledge hammer--

and then it was over.

No pain, no lasting effects.

My scarring and inflamation is low-moderate.

Both times insurance covered all but a small bit-- couple hundred, I

think.

Now, if I can just get a clue as to how my PA thinks that now that

I've had Procrit on top of TX that I can teach 75 middle schoolers a

day about art?

She must think they won't mind if I leave them with the art materials

and spend an hour in the toilet and then four hours on the floor

napping to recover?

Ahh-- the gallows humor rises...
