I have to agree with you, ric, on this being a possibility. I believe if two

people with bloody peridontal disease (one of them carrying HCV and the other

not) are exchanging bloody saliva, transmission is possible. I've never

seen evidence that would confirm this mode of transmission has occured, but I've

never seen evidence to confim this mode of transmission has not occurred,

either.
