Guest guest
Thanks Pat, you are the first to let me know........I appreciate that. I do need a "group" to talk to, someone who can relate to this "dragon" and how we strive to kick it's ass. It was a very hard year for me, I was married, (yeah!)...diagnosed with hepC......then "HE" left me cause of it, ...no one to talk to (about my disease)........going thru it all alone, then, my best friend in the world ( my mom) got sick....had hospice come in, meanwhile, I am still on TX..........and mom passed away while I was there, taking care of her. then I got divorced from the ass...........wasn't a good year. Now, that my Hep C is " back again".I NEED some kind of support group, to help me stay with it........and beat this thing again. If this is just a "click"...I don't think this is the right group for me.,LOL...........know what I mean? I hope I am wrong, I am just scared and need to find support fast.........! Last time, I did it alone, not knowing what I was in for. Yea, my husband cheated on me cause I was so zoned out on brain fog on TX.........but, I don't think that was a good excuse, so I divorced his butt. wouldn't you? And..........on top of it all, he "KNEW" my mom was sick, and just left!..........Thats when the TX really started playing games with my mind.ya know. The stress I think. Sorry I am going on...and on.......but, thats me. Debbie I can relate..I stayed in a state of brainFog for a long time..Felt like I was stoned day and night..The DUH..feelin..Your messages are posting...Pat "Remember the Past, Live in the Present, Look to the Future."Deb

Guest guest
OH Annita Im sorry you are having problems with tx, but remember, you need to get to week 12 and have that pcr,, if you are still showing virus, then you might think about quitting but if you are clear, then honey, you gotta finish if you can,, It takes about 3 -4 weeks to get the procrit to work especially IF you are only taking one shot per week, you might need 2 or 3 PER WEEK of them as I did... The hair will come back,, mine didnt even start falling out until about the 4th month,, I finally got sick of thin hair, shaved my head and wore it proudly,, just stay out of the sun and dont get sunburned... or buy a wig, there are lots that are really cool,, I still have mine to wear if I wanted too, I bought two different styles,, Are you on an antidepression med? IF yes, ask your doc to up your dose, if not, then please ask for one, it can make the difference in how you feel.. Celexa or Lexapro are two that are real good! I know how tired and awful you feel, but just remember that this is NOT forever.. I stayed in bed for over a year, if you need to do that, then do it,, the housework will wait, and as far as foods, I thought everything and I mean everything tasted awful... I lived on fruit cups, fresh fruit, string cheese, peanut butter and toast,, literally, thats what I lived on,,, and made sure I ate the peanut butter and toast every time I took my Riba as the fat will make it work better,,, Please remember that this is not forever and that hep is if you dont get it now! Ill be keeping you in my prayers! hugs jackie --- Annita Finkemeier wrote: > Im on week 13 of treatment. Lately I have felt like > giving up, sides > are bad. Guest guest
Yes your right. They deserve to act like this in the face of tragedy. In fact we should probably teach our children this behavior so they know what to do when tough things happen. Why cant we just be truthful and say that this is bad behavior.Upset is one thing but selfesh and ungrateful are quite another. > get real chefboy and others. Guest guest
Liz, can you please clarify something for me? Didn't you just buy tons of new furniture, and are off to a 3 week trip to Europe, yet you lied about your financial situation in order to get procrit, or one of those expensive drugs for free or really cheap? I know you " hated yourself for it, but you had to do what you had to do, " or something like that. In the media, and this IS documented, unlike the hoax, if there were pictures of blacks, they were " looting, " yet if they were white, they were " looking for food. " Granted, nasty stuff happened in N.O., but it was definitely NOT the majority. Of course the people in Texas won't have the same problems, as they won't have to wait three days for food and water. Cots will be waiting. In other words, the Astrodome was not prepared. There were no buses to take the poor or infirmed people out who had no transportation or money to leave. N.O. was a cluster **** and that won't be happening in Texas. A point of fact is the people in New York affected by 9/11 raised a ruckus for compensation, but the people in Oklahoma didn't. I'm not judging any of these people. All the situations are different. But it sure saddens my heart for the lack of compassion. We are all God's children, and what's important is how we behave toward our fellow man. If we do it for the " kudos " and " thank you's " we better take a good look in the mirror. And this Andy thing with you and Jackie is beyond understanding. I don't think anyone but you two knew what any specifics were, as it either happened at a different forum or in personal email. Why was it even brought to this board? If fact, when Jackie first mentioned Bette, I figured it was Andy's wife, and you were just joking around. But when it was revealed that she runs a different forum, it seemed apparent to me that Andy had every right to be angry, as you two violated a kind of trust of forums...kind of like AA, what is said here should stay here. I just don't get it. Sure, Andy was angry...and you were both out of line to talk about him on this forum, when you didn't even know he was a member! How was he supposed to react? Oh...I think I know...he should have said, " Thank you. " I'm aware of the irony that in a sense I'm " judging " you, but it's more out of confusion. If you can explain these discrepancies, and clear it up for me, that would be great. However, I think it should be done privately, and not on the board. We're still hurting from the Edd/Annita riba-rage fiasco, where what was ok for one was not ok for another...at least for a while before someone else was viciously attacked. Shoot, I was kind of attacked by chefboy when there was nothing in my email that said how I felt, expect to say his post didn't belong on this list. He, too, was spewing venom, but, yet again, that was ok. He also posted the " hoax " as if he were the person who volunteered...as if it were the truth from his mouth to God's ear. Bon Voyage Jane PS Figure I'll get the boot regarding this email, so if any one wants to write me privately, the addy is allaby@... hey get real chefboy and others. Guest guest
Good Post Jane. And I do know that some people, especially outside the US, have to pay for every word used in their e-mail program or minutes. and some only get 30 minutes in the library. so, please, if you can, set your own e-mail program to 'don't copy the original message in replys' You can just copy and paste the part of the message you want to answer. That saves so much time, please? Also remember to keep the subject line fairly close and use the OT if it's completely off the wall. These are common courtesy's. ric
