Guest guest
Not that I can see from the blood work. I get copies of everything from every Doctor and have a small growing binder I keep it all in. When I had to go to the emergency room a couple of times I brought that binder with me. It avoids having to re do tests you just had done! I have no idea why they don't treat them now. One day I'll ask. Really many folks? Not that I have found. I never took herbs unless they were prescribed by a naturopath. I cook with many herbs which I researched and are fine for liver disease. I do take a multi vitamin, liquid cal mag with D and a probiotic. When my Zinc dropped I took a zinc supplement for a month. It was too expensive for me to go to a naturopath here in Florida. I will not put my husband into the poor house trying these treatments which the Alternative Doctors I have talked to said would not work for me. Only my acupuncturist Dr. Hart said she could positively help me. Sadly I would have to get a mortgage on my house to do this treatment plan! Maybe after transplant. My poor liver is just hobbling along right now. Its probably beyond the point of repair. I have always eaten really well. I just had to fine tune it a little. I make/cook pretty much everything from scratch such as spaghetti sauce, mayo, salad dressings etc. Everything in the grocery store has vitamins and minerals added as well a gobs of salt and sugar. I never ate allot of food with preservatives before but now I have completely eliminated them. What herbs/supplements do you take and what are your HepC Stats? > > That's the same stuff that I tested positive for - as do a lot of folks. > Did they test you for HHV-6? Guest guest
OK I'm still trying to deal with the hcv virus and now there's these others!! Should everyone be tested for these other viruses? I guess that goes on my list for the dr. Another question. Kombucha tea. Never heard of it. Did google it. Is there a better brand. The filtered water and grapefruit juice is getting a little old. Been trying some teas but haven't found one. And the Stevia.. Turned my tea green and bitter. Think I tried to much but can't get myself to try it again for a while. I miss my sweet tea. I have just started on the ALA and selenium.Milk thistle I was already taking. Am exploring those words " medically neccessay " which the insurance company keeps throwing at me. Everyone enjoy their day Debbie
