Darn it! We picked the previous weekend to coincide with Columbus day so we

could take advantage of the 3-day weekend. You could still take classes at

the WTC, though. I think (but don't know for sure), that San Diego is a long

drive (3 hours) from LA. It supposed to be incredibly beautiful.

Depending on where you leave from in LA (this is a HUGE city-if you haven't

been here, then it's hard to explain the massiveness). From the Valley, it's

approximately 3 hours. The WTC is in the Valley.

I'm not even sure that I will go yet... Even if it is tax deductible, I don't want to load up my Visa, with the new house and all... Will keep you informed...

Janick,

Oh man, we're going the weekend before that! What a bummer!!!! I

think San Diego is about 2 hours south of LA??? But I'm not positive

about that! That stinks that you will be there the weekend after

us :(

I was just going to ask the same question...do we have a definite date set

yet? I like to ask for days off at work pretty far in advance, just to make

sure I will actually get them off. So if possible, why don't we all

" brainstorm " and come up with the best weekend to go? (Any weekend is fine by

me, as I am determined to be there!!) Also, why don't we get a head count of

how many of us are going. That way when calls she can tell him

how many there will be. ;)

Since I will miss the workouts on Thursday and Friday, I was going to try to

hit up the WTC three times on Saturday (morning, afternoon and evening). Any

brave souls want to join me?

That's as far as we've gotten. Oh, I called and the WTC will be open on

Columbus, but with a " compressed schedule " (meaning classes just in the

morning and maybe at different times than usual).

I didn't know you guys all ready reserved rooms there-that's awesome! I'm a

2 minute walk away :)

The compressed schedule is probably like their sunday schedule, which is

morning only (I think).

I finally got a return phone call from WTC about my question concerning the

schedule on Columbus Day. The person told me that Columbus Day will be a

regular schedule, i.e., with regular classes in the mornining and evening.

Great!! Now that we have a definite date set, I can ask for those days off

from work, and I can book a room at that place in Sherman oaks. This is going

to be so much fun! I can hardly wait to see everyone again.

At this point, I say yes, I will probably join you. (Of course, I may be so

sore I can't walk, so I will have to see LOL.) But since this is a Tae Bo

convention, why not Tae Bo till we drop!!! (NOT meant to be literal LOL)

You are brave !! Luckily, I'll be getting in on Thursday night, so I can

join everyone at the WTC Friday. So, I may only drag you guys to two workouts

on Saturday, instead of three! Do you guys think we could get into a combat

class?
