Guest guest
Oh! I forgot about menopause!! Add that to the list!! And I just put $42 worth of gas in my car……now, that makes me depressed!! Yes, I live alone and it was a bitch sometimes. It was difficult when the RA flared up – that was the hardest part. But all of my problems existed before my tx, not because of it. I don’t think I gave too much thought to my tx except when my hemoglobin dropped and I had to go on Procrit. For me, it was something I had to do with the hope that my neurological problems might improve. Unfortunately, they did not, but I still have hope. And if I don’t win my social security disability claim….then I may hang myself. Well, maybe not – I don’t have the guts. Most humans could not endure the kind of emotional upheaval that you had going on when you went on TX. I know I struggle with a fraction of what you went through. That's why I say you are my inspiration If you can go through all this and come out the other end saying " it was not so bad " well jumpin jiminy cricket I sure as heck can deal with it!! Plus if I remember correctly you lived alone? That was dangerous and I am so glad it worked out for you. Heck just dealing with the emotional BS from menopause is bad enough. > > It's interesting since I feel that I was depressed to begin with. Guest guest
I did what I had to do for my family, and taking treatment was one of the things I had to do for them. Left to my own devices, I probably would have learn to live with the disease and just handle it. But I have a young daughter who is just now 13, she was 7 yrs when I went through treatment the first time. She need her momma. So I did it for her, and my husband. Second time was for myself. Cause I knew I could do it. Having been there and done that. I will do it again when the opportunity arrives again. Because of my family, they need me. But I don't say that it was courage that made me take the treatment twice it was stubborn old Janet that made it through both times. And it is stubborn old Janet that will make it through again. I am just made that way.
