Guest guest
Hi Well his drinking will only make things worse,, Is he on treatment? I would seriously talk with him about stopping drinking, because alcohol is like pouring gasoline on an already burning fire, it makes the virus replicate so fast.. Im sorry, I hope he gets better jax --- wrote: > > > hi, > > my fiance is having trouble with not clotting. his > platelets are very low. > if they don't rise they want to do a bone marrow. i > am pretty sure it is > related to his HCV and very heavy drinking. > can anyone give me more insight here? > > > > ===== Jackie
Guest guest
hi jax, oh don't you know i have talked to him about exactly that. there is no stopping him. and he was on combo treatment but quit in week 15. i just keep praying he will decide to tough it out, and stop drinking, but hope dwindles. he drank during treatment, too, when he wasn't too sick to craw to the bar. his side effects were really horrible, very high fevers, chills, etc. i am helpless, i just watch him kill himself. thank you for your response. jennifer At 06:43 PM 11/6/2004, you wrote: >Hi >Well his drinking will only make things worse,, Is he >on treatment? >I would seriously talk with him about stopping >drinking, because alcohol is like pouring gasoline on >an already burning fire, it makes the virus replicate >so fast.. Guest guest
Well IF he wants to kill himself, you certainly do NOT have to watch.. Alcoholism will make his disease move so quickly and as a 911 paramedic I have transported sever ppl over and over with end stage liver disease, it is ugly.. IF I were you, Id get out,, you do not have to watch! God Bless jax ps, do you have hep c too? --- wrote: > hi jax, > > oh don't you know i have talked to him about exactly > that. there is no > stopping him. and he was on combo treatment but quit > in week 15. i just > keep praying he will decide to tough it out, and > stop drinking, but hope > dwindles. he drank during treatment, too, when he > wasn't too sick to craw > to the bar. his side effects were really horrible, > very high fevers, > chills, etc. > > i am helpless, i just watch him kill himself. > > thank you for your response. > jennifer > > At 06:43 PM 11/6/2004, you wrote: > > >Hi > >Well his drinking will only make things worse,, Is > he > >on treatment? > >I would seriously talk with him about stopping > >drinking, because alcohol is like pouring gasoline > on > >an already burning fire, it makes the virus > replicate > >so fast..
