Missi, Do you work away from home as well? I am not a stay at home mom. I too have a full time job and a boss from, well, you know. She is in her mid-50's, not married, no kids, etc. She doesn't understand that family comes first. She thinks a person's priority should always be work, first and foremost. I get to hear crap every time I have an appointment for my daughter. She has no understanding. So that, plus my husband who keeps his distance in these matters, = a VERY STRESSED me. lol.

Jane,

Your not alone about the husband thing. Mine is the same way. He just buries himself in work and i handle all the medical issues and he just goes along with what i say. I have to pick a neurosurgeon for my sons brain surgery and hes like whatever, who ever you feel comfortable with. SOOO frustrating.

Josh, You really are tuned in and doing a great job with .

Finding out what has is tough. The biggest problem is that I have no real answers. Ok if has this Retts, then were dose she fit? I see her progressing, yes a lot slower then other kids, but still moving forward. She likes other people and being around people. I guess I am scared. Do you know in New Mexico there are only 20 cases and in the whole country only 3000. There really is no support group like we have here. I guess what I am scared of is what dose the further hold for my daughter? Can I get her all the help she needs? And were do I go to get her help? I wanted answers, but not this answer. Sorry to rant, but I just want to cry. I dont want to watch my daughter suffer, I want her to grow big and strong. I guess I just got to learn to lean on God and trust him that he has a plan. But it is tough.

I am very lucky that i get to stay at home with my son for now, but after the surgery bills start comming in i may not be able to anymore! I feel for you though. I had a boss like that once. SHE had 3 kids and never took a sick day or a personal day off for them or herself in 10 YEARS!! SHe was nose to the grindstone with all of us. So Sorry what you have to go thru. i do understand.
