Hi Amy,

I have never had your reaction to bleach although strong scents can

irritate my asthma. Generally they recommend avoiding those things

that irritate us or wearing a mask so that it can't irritate our air

waves as much. So I would refrain from the hair coloring and use non

bleach methods for cleaning if possible.

Hi Angie

Welcome to the list. My name is Tracey and I have two daughters our oldest is

Coral, age 14 (nt), and our youngest is Skylar age 12 next week. Sky was

diagnosed autistic at age 3. This is a great group. Everyone on here is very

supportive and there are many ideas and opinions to help you. It is also a

great place to vent if you are having a bad day.I am sure you will be glad you

joined.

Hey everyone. Tonight is my first night on here. I wish I could have

found this group earlier. I have a 4 year old daughter named Reagan.

She is somewhere in the autism spectrum, the therapist just hasn't

told me exactly where yet. I also have a 10 year old son that has

aspergers. Reagan has about a 10 word vocabulary, but with a bit of

an attitude..lol. I just read a post about one girl think silverware

is disposable. It's the same here. I think I have 3 forks left. Well

I guess that's all for now. It will be nice to meet some parents in

the same situation as I am in.

Hi, ,

I have relatives in Ponchatoula! My daddy grew up there (he sttled here

in California after a stint in the Navy after high school) and his two

sisters still live right there on either side of Papa's old homestead on

Ridgdell Road. I'm glad to see that you want to make some positive

changes in your health, although I do pity you living in a state where it

is illegal to sell raw milk.

Hi ,

Glad to have you here, and I am very sorry for your situation.

Raw milk will definitely help with your health problems, but seems like you have

more

problems than one healthy food can solve. I would do kombucha tea as well using

green

tea mixed in with the black. I would get ahold of some Noni Juice and take it

like crazy as

well as Barley Green. Go to The Vitamin Shoppe and get Garden of Lie Cod Liver

Oil and

start taking it a lot. Coconut oil should be a staple as well, from

www.wildernessfamilynaturals.com.

And of course, like you said, stop smoking. Not preaching, but my sweetest aunt

just died

a couple of days ago from smoking--lung cancer--and she died a horrible death.

She

choked, gagged, gurgled, spit up, suffered tremendously with congestive heart

ailure as

she was dying. She basically suffocated. Why her family didn't dose her up on

Morphine I

will never know. She was going to die anyway. Might as well have relieved her

suffering.

I would also get the book " Eat Fat Lose Fat " by Sally Fallon as well as her book

Nourishing

Traditions. Drop all processed foods, and go for sprouted breads as much as

possible.

You want the good fats, not the bad ones. Go to www.westonaprice.org to learn

more.

For your potential cancer, I would look at www.apricotsfromgod.info and read as

much as

you can there. Truly, these are a blessing from the Creator God to us. I think

you will find

your answers to cancer there.

:-)

You might want to also visit this site. Extremely healthful and may just help with everything you need, aside from the raw milk.

I personally always suffer from back and shoulder pain, but my doctor has never told me it was due to my asthma. I know when I am having an asthma attack & Panic it just makes the situation worse.. I have been trying to do breathing exercises to try and control the "panic" side when I am getting tight, sometimes it helps, sometimes it doesn't.

Hi Shortestone and welcome

Well the asthma is a a huge subject, so many different problems and

treatments, let us know more about what you are on etc.

The costachondiritis I can advise you on, suffered for 9 months in

awful pain because I have Brittle asthma and Bronchiectasis so I cough

constantly. Had pain under ribs and between shoulder blades night and

day. My Gp told me I would have to live with it and my specialist said

he dare not give me an anti inflammatory because of the asthma. In the

end the pain got me down so much I took a huge risk and took the

Voltarol (NSAID)that my husband had for his shoulder. Within a week the

pain had gone and has not come back. If you are sensitive to asprin

then you can't take Voltarol but if you are not try and get you doctor

to try it or a similar anti inflammatory. I also found Accupuncture

helpful.

Hope this helps you

When I went to go see a chiropracter, he mentioned that there were things in my

back that could cause asthma...

Do NOT let those quacks mess with you. I do not believe that. I have been to them and they tried telling me to keep getting adjustments and stop taking my medicine. Guess what, I had an asthma attack after not taking my medicine all day. Yes, I guess some problems can happen with a messed up back but that does NOT CAUSE asthma. The one who told me to quit taking my meds also told me most of my knee problems were due to my back. You tell that to the totally worn out cartilage in my knee. My back does not cause it to grind and grate. Sorry I don't believe in that junk. I may offend someone and I'm sorry, but I got burned by this one and I won't go back to any of them. I just don't trust them.
