HEPATITIS C

A Google search for " hepatitis " will get you nearly four million responses;

coincidentally, that is the approximate number of Americans with hepatitis

C. So it's no wonder I get so many questions about this disease. Let us

immediately cut to the chase.

Administered immediately and in sufficient quantity, vitamin C cures the

entire hepatitis alphabet, A to E. Intravenous infusion of vitamin C may be

necessary to do the job right.

F. Cathcart, M.D., writes at his website, http://www.orthomed.com :

" Since acute hepatitis A, B, C, etc., is easily cured with massive doses of

ascorbate, intravenously and with follow-up with oral ascorbic acid, it is

tragic that it is not properly utilized. Hepatitis C is a special problem

because only about a quarter of cases present as acute (when it would be

easily cured). Chronic hepatitis C is more of a problem; however with

massive doses of ascorbic acid orally, a no-sugar diet, vitamin E,

selenium, silymarin (an antioxidant from milk thistle), and alpha lipoic

acid

among other nutrients, I have never seen a case to go onto acute hepatic

necrosis or cancer of the liver. "

I have known persons who took oral vitamin C to bowel tolerance and beat

hepatitis. I have also seen a person fail with oral dosing alone, so do not

take any chances with Hep. Get the IV.

Hi Zip,

Can you attribute any lessening of your symptoms to this Vitamin C regimen?

Have you ever taken it to titration?

Thanks, Zip, and thanks to Pam & Lu who commented on this topic.

Hi ya'll!

My husband that is genotype 3e cleared only for maybe 3 months after a 6

month treatment of Pegasys/Ribavirin. It was really hard on him. He had to take

Neupogen

shots to keep his white blood count up. DR wanted to put him on the same

treatment for a year to see if he could clear. , my husband, said a firm

" NO! "

We will wait and check again in Jan 2005 to see his viral load, liver panel,

etc. I have a reason for telling you this really I do. Since then my visual

when I think of him is like the HCV being a little pac-man

eating up all of his healthy cells. We decided that it would try a Homeopat

hic doctor that was recommended by a good friend. He started his " remedy " last

Sunday. Aside from the

herbal stuff, and these little saccharin size melt in your mouth detox

pellets, the doctor told him a minimum of 6000 mg of vitamin C (with Ascobates

only)

2000 mg 3xday not all at once, 400 mg of vitamin E (as D-alpha tocopheryl

succinate) 1xday, B-Complex " 100 " 3xday, and at least 2500 IU of Beta Carotene

Complex (from D. salina) 1xday. White willow bark for headaches (or Fever Few)

and nothing containing peppermint, wintergreen, or spearmint. That means

toothpaste, mouthwash, etc. Holistic medicine is a whole different ball game.

There

are many things he has to stay away from mainly because it reduces the

effectiveness of everything he is taking. I hope that info helps.

Here in St. sburg, FL we are keeping a very close eye on Hurricane

Frances swirling in the Atlantic. Charley was a near hit and there was still

damage

in our county (Pinellas). If you want to see something cool pull up this

color enhanced infrared map at....................

or

Maybe if we all blow the air real hard to the East we can turn Hurricane

Frances away from

land. Ya think? LOL!
