Guest guest
, We have exclusively used raw milk products for over 10 years. In California it is pretty easy to get them. Pasteurization and homogenization destroy all the health benefits of milk, and even make then UNhealhful. Raw milk contains all the vitamins, minerals, short and medium chain fatty acids and enzymes intact. For this reason, many people who cannot tolerate milk do very well on raw milk. Some will still need to avoid milk in all it's forms depending on allergies, sensitivities, etc. I can honestly not think of any cons. If it is a reputable dairy which uses only organic grass feeds and humanely treats its cows, this is the best milk you will ever drink. These dairies are usually small and are subjected to rigorous inspections. You would be much more likely to be sickened by pasteurized milk than raw milk. Don't let that frighten you off. I have never had a bad batch yet. doesn't drink milk anymore, but she will eat raw milk cheese and yogurt and loves them. She has never had any problems at all, and in fact she is as healthy as can be, far exceeding the growth predictions made by her doctors. Guest guest
Thanks . Your posting was very reassuring. I plan to try some this weekend with and see how she tolerates it. She has been off all dairy products since she was about 6...she's now almost 15. A urine test back then through and Labs indicated she was high in peptides for casein and when we eliminated dairy, she lost that spaciness connected with autism. I'm not sure whether to try it alone or with some of the AFP Houston enzyme she now takes for casein/wheat/gluten proteins. Guest guest
Dear Juli, Thank you so much for your reply. I also pray your daughter lives a long, healthy life. It was heart warming to hear how well your little girl is doing now. I have worked with a girl with Rett Syndrome and sadly saw the regression take place. Guest guest
, Personally I would try it alone for a control, and then if she seems to have a negative reaction try it again with some enzymes to see if it makes a difference. Of course, you need to do this at a time when it could be possible for her to have a negative reaction so you can handle the consequences. Hopefully she will tolerate it and reap the numerous benefits. On Thursday, January 29, 2004, at 11:42 AM, Dougherty wrote: > Thanks . Your posting was very reassuring.
