how can i get christine to be able to blow her nose...

when i first tried to teach her... she stuck out her bottom lip and

tried to blow (out of her mouth) up... to her nose...

ive tried telling her to 'sniff out'

how do i get her to understand and be able to do it...

is it a muscle thing? is she not capable of doing it?

how can i get her to use that muscle or whatever it is to teach her

how to blow!

right now she has a nasty cold... lots of congestion in her chest and

nose... i have a call in to the dr... going to take her in to see

her but i was wondering if any of you had this same problem... and

how do i work it out?

thanks! Barb

I found that if I imitated blowing my nose, my daughter would try it too. It

took a lot of practice, but now she blows her nose on her own with a tissue.

Good luck,

Vickie
