Tips from Two Parents Whose Hard Work is Leading to Success presented by, Past FEAT-NT Board Member J Reirdon and his wife Bethany. .. Way of life: Know your program well enough to support, reinforce and generalize to the Natural Environment. .. Keep learning: Read and talk to other parents. Find out what is working for others and what isn't. If something is not working for your child, then do something else. .. Advocate for your child: Step up for your child and be your child's champion. Nobody will fight for your child like you will. Nobody knows your child and what they need better than you, their parent. Don't take a consultant or a doctor's word just because they have initials after their name. Read and research everyone and their ideas. If something doesn't sound right, it probably isn't. Trust your instincts as a parent. .. Treat the whole child: A child can learn better when they feel better and are not in a fog. Look and learn at the biomedical issues. Every child is different. 3.
