I have had two mechanical valve replacements and a triple by-pass..I am on 40 mgs of Lipitor a day.. Had 2xbypass in october 2005 zocor was prescribed now I have been diagonosed with drug induced hepatitis it has caused liver damage and god knows what else. I am 10 weeks post-op: mitral valve repair, one bypass, and Maze. I am taking Lipitor for high cholesteral. i take lipitor...had 3bypass in dec..notice alot of joint pain..want to learn more hi, i am on zocor and zetia, my husband is on Crestor and antara. I wouldl like to know more.Does any of this sound familiar?Any comments regarding the conditions of our newestmembers from the older members?Ed - Moderator How low will we go? Check out Yahoo! In Feb I celebrated my third year off of Lipitor...it was not much of a party for I am still disabled from taking Liptor on and off for 1 year. I still have much pain and worry that I will have it forever. All though I had no heart troubles just high cholesterol my advice to all these newbies is get off of the statin drug as soon as possible. Read...research...and tell everyone you meet about your troubles...you will find you are not alone.
