Thanks Gail, I appreciate your comments. Hope you are doing well.

So, you see no difference either then? I didn't but thought maybe it was

just me, because so many say how energized they feel on it.

I am fighting stomach problems now.....and part of me thinks it was all the

supplements....

That is very frustrating. I have stopped everything and am now on probiotics

and enzymes and liver cleaner:-)

I just bought some Q10 at Walmart and it cost $11. something for 40 geltabs.

If it is cheaper here I sure could mail you some.

Wherabouts in Canada are you?

Western or Eastern?

Take care Gail,

Jill

Hi Jill,

I live in eatern Canada - Mississauga, which is just outside

Toronto, Ontario not that far from the New York border.

Whereabouts do you live. It was probably mentioned in a posting.

CoQ10 cost about $1.00 each for the strength of 100mg per gelcap. I

am not sure if i will try them again but will wait until after my

surgery as sometimes too many changes all at once are not good -

then you can't tell what is working.Thank you for the offer - I will

keep it in mind.

I am impressed with how your husband is recovering from bypass- my

year since surgery has not gone so well but that is just how life is.

I am on 21 different prescription medications and have no problems

but then I had to start taking 4 supplements upon Doctor's advice

and I have had so many stomach problems since - makes you wonder and

yet I know some people really do have trouble with medications. My

husband couldn't take Lipitor either but he can take Zocor and he

did really well on Baycol - so who knows why.

Glad to see I am not the only one up in the middle of the night.

That is why I enjoy the groups so much and don't want them ruined.

--Hello, on another message board there is a posting re:studies of

different formulations of coq10 to determine content accuracy. I

cannot remember all the manufacturers whose coq10 was accurate (we

use Tischon gel caps or Vitalinecoq10) though you may wish to check

this posting to determine if what you are purchasing is an accurate

preparation. the web site is : http://www.forum.ditonline.com

scroll down to " Lipitor " and search for the post rating coq10 .

There is another posting that is filled with information and

references addressing the need for coq10 when taking a statin like

Lipitor this can be found at:

http://www.dispace.com/message_boards/drugs/Lipitor/_disc70/00001550.

htm

I have found whenever a web address is longer than 1 line, one must

highlight the second line also, or type the address into the address

site. There are a # of postings on the DIT board beginning

with " FAQ.... " which contain numerous references that should be

helpful to both of you as you decide whether to continue taking

coq10. best of luck to you both.Madelyn

Shucks Gail, I was hoping you were on the Western side:-) I live in CA and

we love it up in Washington, and hope to go into Canada thereabouts someday.

Gail, I feel so blessed that hubby is doing so well......but to be totally

truthful, I worry more now than ever.....as he tends to overdo sometimes,

and he just tells me " don't worry if I croak you'll know I went

happy " ....well, that is hard to rationalize! LOL

I am learning tho, we DO have to live after all...

You are the Gail on the bypass list......

You are awaiting another surgery right?

I was wondering about your physical condition, such as weight......were or

are you overweight, or did or do you eat healthy?

I know you probably have said on the other list, sorry I forgot, am just now

getting people straight in my head;-)

My hubby has lost about 30 lbs since his surgery....and wants to loose maybe

10-15 more.

Same with me:-(

You are a nice lady and I wish you health.

hugs, Jill
