And there has been some disucssion here that the two might actually be related geneticaly. But the sweat test sounds like a long ordeal in the exercise room -- but it's not. I was relieved and surprised with the test. We went in. They put a dab of medicine on Katy's arm, wrapped it in Saran Wrap and told us to come back in one or two hours (I don't remember now). We went to the gift shop and killed time, etc. Then, we returned, they took some swabs to collect the sweat that the medication had caused, and we were out of there. Guest guest Posted March 3, 2001 Report Share Posted March 3, 2001 Dale - is there pain with the spotting? Lower abdominal cramps maybe? I'd find another doc and see about an endometriosis workup. She's not too young and it is possible. Not to scare you. I showed signs of it at 17 but it didn't go full blown until 25. Thankfully after I had both my children. Seek a second opinion if 's comfortable with pursuing it and let us know what happens.
