Guest guest
Harvey Comics' The Good Little Witch? I remember it well. I think the character was featured in a separate comic book at one time, as were Little Dot and Little Lotta (published by the same company). Incidentally, the artist who designed (or re-designed, in the case of Casper) the Harvey characters, as well as create Richie Rich, died recently, according to the Cartoon Research site. His name was Warren Kremer. Re: A great book wrote: > the Witch Oh wow, I vaguely remember the Witch. Cute blonde girl with a red hooded robe. Thanks , but what about Jane and Sniffles? I think maybe she was the last story in Unca Scrooge Comics, though sometimes it was " Droopy " the dog. Man, I wish I could have saved all my old comic books, they'd be worth a young fortune. BTW, I learned to read by reading along with my older sisters while they read Duck in the Sunday Funnies. I was 3. I had no trouble understanding " The Katzenjammer Kids " . She was Casper the Friendly Ghost's friend, but you got the look right. My favorite Romper Room episodes were the ones where the Witch was in the Casper cartoons. I don't remember Jane and Sniffles, but that sounds like something I would have loved. One of my favorite stories was about a kid who could shrink. It was in a Childcraft book. Guest guest
Hi, No, was a friend of Casper. Casper had more personality in the comics, and more of a history. The Harvey artists created a whole " universe " for Casper in the comics, which included and her " wicked witch " guardians, The Ghostly Trio, Spooky, Hot Stuff, and so on. RIchie Rich and do have a couple of common threads in that they were both Harvey Comics characters, and designed/drawn by the same man (Warren Kremer). But they were not part of the same " universe. " Does that make sense?
