Guest guest Posted March 3, 2006 Report Posted March 3, 2006 Dena, I don't really have any information to help with the NH search. My parents both picked out their nursing home a long time ago. They moved into a Retirement Community that has a campus of Condos for completely independent living, then an Assisted Living Facility on another end of the campus and then the Skilled Nursing Home at yet another end. My grandmother even chose her own Nursing Home (the same complex) before she became dx with Alzheimer's. (My family has a HUGE history of dementia so they planned early so their children wouldn't have to, I guess) I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers as the next few days progress and hope that you find the perfect place!!
