Hi Everyone,

Well just wanted to let the world know how excited I am for !!!

Yesterday, he finally got his new wheelchair in (Champion 3000 by Everest $

Jennings) and he loves it. But that is just the ok part of this email,

haha!!

Today, we went to the Early Intervention Christmas Party and sat in

his chair not wanting to get out of it...he really likes it...but then he

decided that he wanted to play with the wheels so I moved the arm rest for

him and took him to the back where it was out of the way. The child was

using BOTH hands to push the chair around, more his right than the left, but

he was getting the left involved alot. He did soooo many circles to the

left and was all over the place!!! EVERYONE who has been following him from

EI was amazed that after about 20 minutes in the chair he took charge and

decided that sitting still was no fun at all. And go figure...he started

this little stunt about 3 minutes after his Physical Therapist left the

party, ARG...isn't that always the way!!

And on another note...he was ok with the clown they had (same one that did

Mandy's party in March that she hated, haha, so it was good that she was at

school!! But when she started to make balloon animals, that was all he

wanted of that. And he really like Santa, but could have cared less about

the gift he got because he was too mad that we disturbed his wheelchair

circle making.

Anyhow, I just had to tell all of you what a great job he did. I am willing

to bet that within the next few months we won't be able to catch him in it,

hehe!!
