What really

ticks me off is that the FDA finds harmful bacteria in beef that comes from meat

packing plants all the time and the factories are never shut down but simply

fined.

The

case they noted in Ohio in 2002-2003 they wanted to blame on raw milk in the

worst way. They couldn't do it though. It turned out people got

sick from another food item they sold there at Young's Dairy (the last legal

place to buy raw dairy in the state of Ohio). Makes you wonder how many

other of these " cases " have been fabricated to look like it was

dangerous raw milk that caused the illness??

FDA: got milk? make sure it's pasteurized

Sounds like they are still sticking to their old stand-by statistics. We have letters that will refute most of the claims. I will put in our raw dairy files > this article, the letter from Stueve's in reply to the Public Citizen's petition to ban all raw milk. I will post these along with the other Public Citizen anti-raw milk articles.CyndyPLEASE BE KIND AND TRIM YOUR POSTS WHEN REPLYING!Visit our Raw Dairy Files for a wealth of information!http://groups.yahoo.com/group/RawDairy/files/

In stark contrast to the Young's con job in Ohio, this last summer season, a resort area up on Lake Erie made 1600+ people sick with some sort of Food Poisoning. Thankfully no one died. If there had been any hint of RawMilk up there, well..... you can just imagine the headlines. Did you get the vast difference in the food poisoning numbers...?

As it stands now, even with the EPA all over the place trying to find "the Source", they've got Nada, "maybe it's the well water", as they did when looking for why an entire teenage community came down with Menningitis, that killed a few, and Legionella in a Cleveland GM factory, that killed even more. Remember the Chi Chi's thing in PA last summer... with how many more dead?

If they can pinpoint a business, they'll ruin them, rather than blame their own sloppy work at USDA Meat Inspection. It was Chix Patties at Young's restaurant that were finally implicated, but Young's gave up their Raw Dairy license voluntarily, rather than face unending persecution. One of the family members who never touches milk came down sick, and this prompted the continued search.

EXACTLY ! That's been my " beef " all along. Why aren't the other foods that

cause

outbreaks outlawed? Why is raw milk singled out? Why not raw oysters? Raw

shrimp?

Raw chicken? HELLO!
