Guest guest Posted August 31, 2005 Report Share Posted August 31, 2005 I know I've mentioned Marti's wonderful caregiver, Audrey, with whom Marti lives. Audrey and her husband are originally from Slidell, Louisiana, and Gulfport, Mississippi. She has 22 relatives from the coast sheltering at her house. Her mother's house is completely gone, as is her sister's. The sister's business was also destroyed. They're still looking for at least three relatives who haven't been heard from since Katrina hit. I'm sure she'd appreciate any good thoughts and prayers you can send her way. Here in South Arkansas we're filled up with refugees--in motels, churches, civic centers--anywhere with space and bathrooms.
