Guest guest
feel that if you have a cause worth standing up for then do it. I support many causes that may not affect me personally, but may help someone else. I'm sure that we all have family and friends who would support us and I'm sure they probably would have friends who would help us too. Hershell Hi, Hershell , I belong to Moveone also . Maybe after the election they might take some interest in it . I agree, we need to get this out in the public . Les .
Guest guest
Les....wow... that is something... most people involvedin a class action suit get only pennies. The attorneyis the one that makes all the money. Attorneys loveclass action suits. They make it sound like everyone is going to make awindfall and none of them do... except for him ofcourse. After hearing about him, I had a better understanding abotu what class action suit means ,and I wouldn't get involved in one ! He had been waiting for years, thinking he was going to get big money from this ! Les
Guest guest
Yes, that's a good idea, Ed - only trouble is that the first thing anyone would do would be to read through the posts. They would quickly pick out Matt's emails and simply not read any more of them but unfortunately an awful lot of people took the bait and responded to him. There are whole areas of posts that are totally irrelevant to our being damaged by statins. Pam
Guest guest
Another place to inform people: your local health food store. This is a large network of people who do not always believe the drug companies. I heard someone in our local hf store asking about memory problems; did not intrude into the conversation but later mentioned to the salesperson that statin drugs are another possible cause, and mentioned some of the problems I had had. If a lot of people in this business start getting comments like that and compare notes, it might have an effect (if they're not simply dismissed as nuts.)Linden My husband is out of town on business right now, and he was talking to the other guys he's with, and two are on statins, and one had been having numb feet and was astonished to hear from my husband about me, and all the people on the boards ! Of course his Dr denied it had anything to do with the statin ! Les
