Guest guest
How do you know the risk of a heart attack is 5 times greater when stopping the Lipitor? Guest guest
I've read this from various sources. The increased risk is only three times in each of the articles though (I guess I misquoted them), but they all indicate that stopping statin use increases your risk for a heart attack. http://heartdisease.about.com/library/weekly/aa031102a.htm http://www.healthandage.com/Home/gid2=1769 http://atoz.iqhealth.com/atoz/healthupdate/Alert04162002.html http://www.scienceblog.com/community/older/2002/B/2002641.html > How do you know the risk of a heart attack is 5 times greater when > stopping the Lipitor? > Please and Thanx, Bogie
Guest guest
Thank you for the links. Very interesting to me because it accentuated the importance of my husband's Isosorbide Mononitrate medication (which delivers nitric oxide) as a protective measure during the withdrawal of Lipitor.
