How do you know the risk of a heart attack is 5 times greater when

stopping the Lipitor?

Please and Thanx, Bogie

I've read this from various sources. The increased risk is only

three times in each of the articles though (I guess I misquoted

them), but they all indicate that stopping statin use increases your

risk for a heart attack.

Thank you for the links. Very interesting to me because it accentuated the importance of my husband's Isosorbide Mononitrate medication (which delivers nitric oxide) as a protective measure during the withdrawal of Lipitor.
