Hi everyone, (mass email ;o)

Well, today I got a gander at the Pre-HBO video that the hospital where

use to go for his PT/OT and Speech therapies did. He was 19 months in the

video. When I sat down to watch it today I felt like I was hit by a bus. the

first thing I noticed is that looked so smal compared to what he looks

like now...but then again....he has put on about 7 pounds and 4 inches since

then. The second thing I noticed is how poorly he use to sit with pretty much

no trunk control. He was sitting in the therapist lap holding on to a toy for

dear life just to sit up straight and would barely let go....now he can sit up

and raise his hands to play only using one hand to steady himself when

necessary. There were alot of differences that we saw. It was like watching a

whole different child that we didn't even know. Yes, I know that was 6 months

ago...but the difference is amazing. He literally looked like an 8 month old in

the video doing things like a 6-8 month old would do and now he looks like he is

2 and is doing things that 13-18 month olds do. Another thing that really stuck

out is that he verbalizes totally differnt now...he used to be all squeels and

laughing, now he has alot of baby talk coming out and a few words. It is so

amazing...I am in total shock. The best part is that even since the HBO,

is still continuing to improve at almost the same rate as he was progressing

while in HBO. So far we have not seen any regression of the milestones he

accomplished. Hopefully, he will continue to progress and never regress.

Well, I shall close this now...just wanted to share this peice of enlightenment

with friends and family!
