Oh, please, Sara. My sissy and I have been " arguing " over this for

years. She wants to go to upstate NY or Maine or something - I say

that's too dang cold, I HATE cold! I say WV or thereabouts, she says

" NO! Too hot and humid!! "

If only ....

*sigh*

Whose Sissy has a point - at least upstate NY or Maine would feel the

effects of global warming less quickly - might take a few extra years for

them to FEEL like WV

That's where us single people come in handy. The only one I have to

convince is my cat. And he'd probably be okay with it as long as he had

plenty of fields to roam, mice to chase, and well, ya know, all those other

neat things that he likes to eat and chase and hunt that tend to make

people go " ewwwwwww " or " oh those poor babies!!! " .

Except he'd REALLY hate the part about the driving to actually MOVE.

MFJ

Mom to The Mighty Yet Aging Hunter ... may he live and hunt forever!

Well, all us Single people who hate the Rat-Race could pull up stakes without too much problem, but then we'd be accused of building a Commune and have Regulators breathing down our backs.....

Neo-Amish might just work, but then we'd have to start a Church for the Tax/Regulatory Exemption...

Now we're even Dreaming alike.... Sigh. We have the Talent in spades, but what to do with it..... The story of my Life...lol.

Re: hormones in milk? now: NT Village!

Ya know Sara, Sally Fallon advocates this very thing. She says that if 4 or 5 families come together, they can create a huge operation where they all help one another. Each ccouple takes a week milking the cows. Then each family has a week off to travel, whatever. She's got a whole system laid out. It seems really cool. Something to consider. As a WAPF chapter leader, I have thought about it with my little chapter here. There are several families of like mind living in this same area. Some would probably be up for it. It's just that we all would have to wrench ourselves free of our Americanized lifestyles (and jobs) and dig into a new way of living. It would definitely be a big change--a big step. Hubby's would have to cooperate. (snicker). I would love to do something like that!> > Allright guys,> > How about this? Let us all pick a place somewhere where we can > set up a NTVillage!
