Guest guest
Hi everyone, I'm wondering, does yogurt go bad, as in unsafe to eat? I have some storebought yogurt (Stoneyfield Farms) and according to the date on the lid, it should still be good for another two weeks, but it has started to smell " funny " . It also tastes kind of twangier than usual, kind of off. There's only a little left in the container, so I will probably just throw out the rest, but I am wondering if this could hurt me. I went ahead and ate a small amount with some blueberrys and walnuts. I had to add some maple syrup to counter the extra sourness of it. I hope I don't get sick! My fridge only gets down to around 45 degrees, yet my freezer area gets a little too cold (I use the ice cream test: if my ice cream is too hard to spoon out, the freezer is too cold). This is a funky apartment fridge and it doesn't have anyway to redirect more cold to the fridge part. Any thoughts? Thanks. -
