Guest guest Posted March 11, 2006 Report Share Posted March 11, 2006 *A few months back my dr wanted to try lyrica, a med that supposedly helps more than neurontin and has helped many. but it didnt help me. You have to try a med for longer then 2 weeks to see if it works.....when he took me down and then off neurontin I was in AGONY ....I knew then that the neurontin was working. 300mg isnt much by any means and they started me out slow but gradually up'ed the dose like they do with neurontin.* *I would tell your dr that it was working and youd like to try again if youd like.
