To all who were horrified about the new proposal for national

service, I would like to point out that the representatives who

introduced the bill are all Democrats. See for yourself. Go to

http://thomas.loc.gov/ Enter " HR 163 " and click search. It is a very

short bill.

It lists the names of all the representatives who introduced it at

the top. They are all Democrats. You can verify this at

http://www.vote-smart.org/official_congress.php?dist=bio.php

Under List Members of Congress, By Party: Democrat, hit the " Go "

button. On the next page go to the edit menu, to find, and type the

name of each one (separately) to find it on the page.

So, before everyone starts thinking that this is Bush's doing, please

verify for yourselves who it is.

The same is true of the USA PATRIOT Act, that other outrageous

violation of our civil liberties... sponsored by Democrats in the

days after 9/11. It was this revelation that convinced me that all

politicians are corrupt at some level, regardless of affiliation.

Exactly!!! It's not about Republicans vs. Democrats. It's about government that serves the people, not itself and it's inside cronies and powerful supporters at the total expense of the rest of us. All corrupt and false politicians need to be exposed. If not we will be fighting an uphill battle for everything we hold dear from Raw Dairy to the right to decide what is best for ourselves and our families, to mention only a tip of the iceberg.

And we need to be telling them that. If we don't give them critical feedback they definitely won't change their evil ways. From inside our own parties.
