Dear all,

I have a series of patient's notes in German - mostly printed, some

handwritten - with the usual abundance of abbreviations. I'd appreciate

any assistance that members can offer with any or all of the following,

please. (All have been checked on

http://www.medizinische-abkuerzungen.de/, Eurodic and by way of general web

searches.)

1. V a: this appears twice, in both cases preceded by a date and

followed by a medical condition, e.g.

28.02.95 V a Carditis

13.02.97 V a Herzrhythmusstörungen

2. ø (o with a slash through it, not the Scandinavian letter): I

presume this is shorthand for " no " , as in the following:

Befund: ø Bewußtlosigkeit, ø Commotio Schädel, ø Klopfschmerz, ø DS über

NAP ...

3. LA, as in:

Thr.-Vorschlag:

Adaptierende Hautnaht im *LA*.

I thought of " Lokalanästhetikum " , but " im " seems rather odd preceding it.

4. Zd (or Fd, or 7d - handwriting rather unclear!)

Tetanus-Auffrischung, Fadenzug im Zd (after cuts to the patient's face and

hands)

5. AF, AU:

Bericht an HA: mit Pat/Post am ___ *AF*: ja/nein

Stat. Aufn. CH /vorges. für __ *AU*: ja/nein

6. zA:

Diagnose: Naevuszellnaevi

*zA.* Dysplastischer Naevus
