Forget my last post, I found the answer when I had just sent the message, I

would say

La thérapie DAI corrige les tachyarythmies sévères associées à une faible

fraction d'éjection (FE)

And not injection as I wrote in the previous message.

I hate early mornings !

They are talking about " deadly " (fatal would be a better word) tacchyarrythmias

that occur as a result of a low ejection fraction (I think the term used more

correctly for ejection frcation is Stroke Volume). Thus the ICD therapy prevents

these tacchyarrythmias by correcting the low stroke volume (restoring stroke

volume to normal for example).

SV is not exactly EF. Ejection fraction is a percentage of the ventricular

volume ejected

in systole (normal about 65%), whereas stroke volume is the volume in ml.
