Guest guest
Guys [and Gals!] *we* don't enter our stuff in the db, does, and for that she needs complete info sent to her directly, NOT TO THE LIST, at mailto:cgtradmed@... or at mailto:cgtradmed@.... I can't find her original message of August 30 in which she stated exactly what she wanted to see, but I think by sending a resume with your medical linguistic experience, including your working languages!!! , the services you provide, and generally ensuring that the points addressed in the presentation of the database [specialties] are covered, that would do the trick. Now, I want to tell you that is still seriously under the weather with a nasty flu and basically out of action. So please be patient, she will return to the task as soon as her strength returns to her. Take care Dee Joyce Sala wrote: > Same here please! > > TIA > > Joyce > > > > LA> Dear , > > LA> perhaps I have missed some message, but I have a question (stupid?!!!). > LA> I'd like to know what I have to do, as member of the T-T list, to enter my > LA> data in the database. > LA> Thank you > LA> laura > > LA> Dr Arcioni > LA> Scientific translator and proofreader > LA> EN-IT > > LA>
Guest guest
Hi Dee Here is 's message (at least the end of it) Message #10697 If you are interested, please note that I need, for the moment (we'll see later if I'm able to enter more info on you - please don't forget that I'm not so clever at informatics) the following info (and ONLY COLLEAGUES PROVIDING IT WILL BE TAKEN INTO ACCOUNT.) 1) Identity, which MEANS : complete name, COUNTRY OF RESIDENCE, phone/fax, etc., e-mail(s) (NOT A FREE ONE, as hotmail, yahoo, etc.), and URL(s). Please note that the priority will be given to translators having URLs (We are professionals, aren't we ?). Of course a Proz, Foreingword, etc. professional page's URL will be accepted (please, make at least this effort). 2) Specialization within the Medicine scope. THIS IS A MANDATORY CRITERIUM. This means that we must make 3 separate groups : i) translators specialized in CLINICAL MEDICINE and, ii) those who are specializing in MEDICAL/SURGICAL DEVICES, EQUIPMENT, etc., and iii) Pharmacology .Thereafter, there will be other sub-categories, inside these 3 arms. For instance, Clinical Medicine > Medical literature, or Pharmamacology> SPCs, or Devices/equipment> surgery > stents, etc. (Note : Don't worry. If a colleague, for instance, does both Clinical Medicine and Devices, s/he will appear twice, or 3 times, etc, in the database, under each category and language pair). 3) Language pair(s). PLEASE NOTE that any detailed correspondence about this project must be sent to me at : cgtradmed@f.... Thank you to be the shortest possible. PLEASE, NO RESUME, CV, etc. for the moment. Just send me the most BASIC info. We'll see later how to introduce CV's, resumés, etc. Please uderstand that this is just a draft, an idea that I must improve, and that I must find the best " how-to-do " strategy. For general comments on this project, you may use our list, but, again, NO CV, NO RESUME. Thanks a lot for your understanding. Thank you for your comments. Have a nice day Take care Catherne GUILLIAUMET - France Marie-Pierre Gérard
Guest guest
Hi Dee, I know I have it in my e-mail somewhere, but would you be willing to repost or summarize what information we need to send , and in what form, to make it easiest for her to enter us in the database? Or point us to the information? Many thanks!!
