Tried Kathy ’s Flex Appeal: A Belly Dance Workout this morning. It will be going back to the library this afternoon. LOL I did about 5 mins of the Slow and Sensual routine, just to try it and to warm up a bit. Then I did the 10 stretch, which felt rushed and the movements seemed too fast in places. It’s probably a fine dvd, just not for me. :- ) Kathy was very toned down vocally in the parts I did, btw. And she looks great (this is dated 2006). in deep freeze Sask.

I started with this one when I was recovering, it was great while I was learning to stand and walk again but once I had some mobility it is too slow. To: exercisevideos Sent: Tue, March 1, 2011 11:26:34 AMSubject: Flex AppealTried Kathy ’s Flex Appeal: A Belly Dance Workout this morning. Joanne thanks for mentioning this. I often have challenges with health so I will add this dvd to my easy list when I have walking issues. Thank you very much.

Many of the beginner belly dance videos are slow and focus on moves that are only one step forward and back, they add hip and arm movements but the motions are limited and great for days when it's hard to move. There are some of youtube if you want to try the moves first, and there are some videos dedicated just to arm movements so you don't have to do more than stand or sit. Don't bother with the floor ones, they require a lot of leaning and motion of the spine. To: exercisevideos Sent: Tue, March 1, 2011 4:00:07 PMSubject: Re: Flex Appeal
