Hi Winona,

I am not sure what Dr Megson recommended, but we have a great coconut

cookie at our local health food store. It is made by Red Mill farms

in Brooklyn New York. The cookie is sold in separate little package,

it costs us 55 cents a cookie, it is a good size cookie. My son does

not get alot of them. They are Gluten Free, Wheat Free, Lactose free,

sulfite free. It also says they are a sorce of MCT for high energy

sports, excellent source of Lauric acid 7

grams, and capric acid 0.8 grams.

Ingredients: unsweetened sulfite free coconut, honey, egg whites, no

synthetic color, no artificial flavor and no chemical preservatives,

no salt added. They are so good. I just ordered 2 cases of them, and

they will last us a long time. I don't like the honey in them, but I

love the idea that he is getting the lauric acid. I personally would

not give 10 aday, but one every few days, or maybe once a week is OK.

I hope this helps,

Leah

from the company, but I can find it anywhere. I seem to remember it

being some kind of Chinese product??? Or, I could be completely

wrong....but I know for sure it was in cookie form and he should eat

about 7-10 cookies a day.

Dear Leah,

Can I get more info on these great coconut cookies? I couldn't find a web

site for them. Do you mean Bob's Red Mill Farm??? Do you have a phone #

or web site?

Thanks for any help.

Marv.

Hi Marv,

Other then the nutritional facts, I copied everything I could for you

guys on my last post. There is a website, but when I go to it, it

does not seem to be completely up yet. The web address is

www.redmillfarms.com, it really doesn't take you any further. Doing a

web search for Jennies Macaroons did not come up with much info for

me either.

You might want to ask your local healthfood store if they can order

some for you,

Leah

This is all of the information from the package.

They are sold in canisters in a small cookie size (slightly larger

in diameter than a quarter) and they are sold in individual

packages (about the same size as the top of a muffin in

diameter).
