I apologise about my ignorance, but coul someone enlight me and tell if " lit

chirurgical " and " lit opératoire " are the same?

C' est un plaisir de vous saluer.

Je ne savais pas que le contexte pouvait être administratif. Je traduis

de l' Espagnol vers le Français, un texte sur le traitement chirurgical de

l' incontinence masculine d' effort par pose de bandelette.

.... " Se deben tomar las máximas medidas de precaución para evitar

contaminaciones. Por ello, durante la cirugía se recomienda mantener el

sling en contacto con antibióticos (o) por medio de irrigación abundante del

lecho quirúrgico " .

Si je posais cette question, c' est que sur le net j' ai trouvé tous

deux: " lit chirurgical " et " lit opératoire " et j' ai l' impression que c'

est différent. Comme d' habitude je suis aux prises avec le manque de

références et m' efforce de faire un bon travail. J' aimerais tant avoir à

ma portée beaucoup plus de matériel, des dictionnaires spécialisés, par

exemple ! C' est difficile quand on habite en Argentine... Merci beaucoup de

votre aide !

Chère ,

Ma demande de précision tenait au fait que lit chirurgical/opératoire peut

être compris au sens administratif = 1 patient en service de chirurgie (pré-

ou post-opératoire) / 1 patient partant pour le bloc opératoire ou en salle

de réveil, pour simplifier.

Dans votre contexte, le lit c'est au sens terrain sur lequel on a opéré, la

surface de l'organisme concernée par l'intervention, etc. Et qu'il soit

chirurgical ou opératoire, c'est la même chose. Et je ne parle pas des " lits

chirurgicaux " au sens matériel pour hôpitaux. Votre client a réellement

besoin d'une sacrée remise à niveau terminologique :-))

Donc, en anglais, " surgical site " , voire " operating site " (ce dernier = 1/20e

du premier).
