Guest guest
Well, I think portacaval has to do with high blood pressure in the liver and is treated with a procedure called portacaval shunt. So I would think that the statement below is talking about portal hypertension. " evidence of liver cirrhosis with corkscrew arteries and periportal and portacaval " Adenopathy is large lymph glands. I've heard of retroperitoneal fibrosis which is a disorder in which the tubes that carry urine from the kidneys to the bladder are blocked by a fibrous mass in the back of the abdomen. Does that help at all? MaC writer34us wrote: " evidence of liver cirrhosis with corkscrew arteries and periportal and portacaval as well as retroperitoneal adenopathy.
