Guest guest
Sadly, I have no answers for you, but my son also craves salt. We are able to control it, and he doesn't pour it in his mouth, but I would be gratified to find out what kind of mineral or whatever he might be missing. Guest guest
I seem to remember Dr. Megson saying that for some reason, they craved salt (absorption or something?). She actually said to let them have it. Becky elevated acth > > Our son craves salt. We have to hide the salt from him. He will literally > pour it into his mouth. Guest guest
Dr. M seems to be more anti-salt. But the discussion I was having with her was about the anti-yeast diet. Perhaps she'll weigh in later. I'm not personally all that worried about the salt. Since we don't eat much in the way of prepared foods, I think DS probably gets less than most American kids. Still, it would be good to have a guideline.
