Guest guest
This is a long shot. Does anyone know anyone with HIV who would be willing to chronicle their health with this group after switching to raw milk? Ideal situation, Perhaps a person with an adopted HIV positive child who want the very best for the child would find a local source or consider a family dairy animal goat or cow. The HIV infected person consumes a lot of raw dairy and no storebought H & P dairy. The person is willing to write in and let us know how things are going. The professor I know is studying aids In Africa. Charting # of cases by area. I told her that I would be surprized if the Massi, who live on milk, had HIV troubles. -Sally Maybe the person could send stuff in by a code name & from a new private email. Guest guest
Just a little caveat: the Masai don't really live on milk anymore. Over half of their diet is now agricultural (non-pastoral) foods. Along with this recent change in diet has come a great decrease in height and lower immunity to malaria and other infectious diseases. Malaria used to be like a cold for them but now they are dying from it just like their neighbors. Their traditional remedies no longer work, presumably because of the change in diet. Guest guest
Sandor Ellix Katz, author of the book Wilk Fermentation, is HIV positive and has progressed to having AIDS. He drinks raw pastured goats milk and eats very NT. I beleive he has fought back from some terrible infections and he attributes this is part to raw milk and LOTs of fermented products. He lives in a large community of people who also eat/drink in a similar way. Perhaps you could contact him. His email address is somewhere in the book, if you would like it I can find it for you. Hope this helps. Jill
Guest guest
Hi Sally! I am not really clear on what you are asking here. Are you asking if we want to get regular updates about a person with HIV consuming rawdairy?----------------------Does anyone know anyone with HIV who would be willing to chronicle their health with this group after switching to raw milk? __________________________________________________
Guest guest
There were some studies going on in regards to CAE positive goats milk being used with HIV positive humans. CAE is a retrovirus similar to HIV but it does not transfer to humans. I don't know where the studies are at this point but would be very interesting now to add in the thought... maybe the CAE has nothing to do with it, maybe it is the milk itself. HIV is a virus and it would be interesting to see if Fresh Raw Milk could help with the management of immuno-deficiency in HIV people or others afflicted with similar malady.-sally
