Guest guest
Olif, the ONLY non-homogenized milk I found here is sold at Whole Foods. It's the one from the Strauss Dairy, and they are sold in glass bottles. Rather expensive, and you pay a dollar deposit on the glass bottle, which is refunded when you bring it back. hth, Janis > My mom is in Arizona, and I am wondering if anyone knows if they sell non-homogenized milk anywhere. She is about 30 min. outside the Tuscan area. She has diverticulosis (intestinal illness) and low bone density. I am trying to talk her into trying kefir, but the homogenized milk damage IMO may not be worth the benefits of the kefir. She is also lactose intolerant and hasn't been consuming any milk products right now, but she might be okay with kefir, right? > > Thanks, > Olif
Guest guest
Hey Olif, I'm in Phoenix, and have been able to get non-homogenized but pasteurized milk at Trader Joe's. Haven't seen it anywhere else, and don't always find it there, but quite often they have had it. I do dearly wish that the delicious, healthful milk from the one "legal" dairy that was in operation til the first of the year was still available - the change in my health was marked, and the effects lasted 5 months, luckily for me. The pasteurized but not homogenized milk hasn't helped me in the way that raw did. I've wondered if it has "bad" effects on heart problems... I hope your Mom can use this info anyway.
