Our son has been chelating with TDDMPS for 13 mo's and

mouths alot of things all day.All of his mineral

levels are good....he gets lots of magnesium and zinc

and these are even showing as high on labs. I think

it's just the chelation/ metals and we need to ride it

out.

I still think he needs more zinc. For my son, when he mouths things,

it is always related to mineral deficiencies, especially zinc. I've

heard that kids need at least their weight +25 in milligrams, so your

son would need a minimum of 67...maybe quite a bit more. I've gone as

high as 80mg for my little 42 pounder, especially when chelating. Just

be careful to split up your doses, zinc can be nauseating if taken a

bugnch at once. You might continue your current things and add a

different form of zinc. Kirkman sells a few different kinds (including

a transdermal zinc cream), and believe it or now, we've done well with

Water Oz zinc and E-Lyte zinc too. Kim

Hi Jen,

I going to guess that others in the group addressed this, but we have seen

mouthing be a

good thing. It can be the nervous system coming back online. I've observed

MB12 and

Valtrex start mouthing and it shortly thereafter turn into speech. We've seen

that a couple

times in the group and I have had one child at my school act similarly. I also

had one child

who's diet was off and it seemed like a nutrional craving.

We do not have a lot of reports here yet, but Dr. Neubrander has published his

posative

views for some time (about MB12 and mouthing) from what I understand.

In time we'll have more reports and more information to share on mouthing.
