does anyone know of any court cases that were successful in getting

someone not to use pesticides, solvent based cleaning supplies, or

toxic maintenance supplies?

I am trying to get Molly back in school. Her grade school is going

to spray Round-up the first of June and Molly will not be able to

attend school.

In Hinsdale, Illinois there was a case about 6 years ago of a family who

reportedly had a chemically sensitive son. Their name was the

Flemmings. They filed suit against the Village to stop broad

application of chemicals to village lawns and parks. The suit was

settled with the development of an intergrated pesticide management plan

and notification of applications.

Thanks for the information.

I am getting pretty anxious. The school is due to spray roundup the

first of June and the end of July.

I probably have very little chance to stop the spraying in June. So I

am hoping to get it stopped before July.

Molly is 10 and has been out of school since Dec 12, 2003.

I also heard that just recently a university in Illinois discovered a

link between weed killers and asthma.

My daughter has been unconscious from asthma.

Most impressive is that since Molly has been out of school we have only

had one doctors appointment. Before,

From august to Dec 12, when she was removed, she was sick almost every

week.

Jeanne,

American Academy of Pediatrics has a book titled " Handbook of Pediatric

Environmental Health. " It is a great resource, and has quite a bit of

information on pesticides. Hope this may help.
