Guest guest
Good Morning, My 7 yr. old PDD son still wears the night time pull up. Now that he's getting bigger and drinking more fluids the pull up doesn't always work. We talk about this all the time. Not drinking so much after 6....going to the bathroom before bedtime....etc... My question is...do you think I should be more consistent with this whole situation? I just feel like he'll grow out of it. He potty trained a lot later and I imagined this was normal for a child with PDD and low muscle tone. A doctor said once that maybe because of the low tone he can't hold it at night. Although, he has woke up dry before so I don't think that's an issue. I was also told once by a doctor that they have alarms that will wake the child. I hate to do that...I imagine his anxiety's will worsen by waking up to a bell type noise. Please let me know what you think. And if anyone wants to write privately that's fine, I've set all my groups on Web only since I was getting 100's of emails and I don't always check them fast enough.
