Guest guest
, I'd suggest checking weather sites such as NOAA, accuweather, etc. for this information. You'll probably have to do some digging, but the info should be available. Cheers, Chuck Reaney Does anyone know of a website that allows you to look up relative humidity for a past date in a specific location? I used to have one in my favorites, but can't find it anymore. Guest guest
A recent project brought me to this site where I had to cut and paste from several links to get the below information. Guest guest
, The Dept. of Energy, through Oak Ridge National Laboratory, offers a 2-1/2 day class on the WUFI/ORNL hygrothermal modeling program. That databases include weather, including temperature and relative humidity, hours of sunshine, rain, etc., for every day for 58 cities in the U.S. for the past 32 years. The program lets you dial in the date you want, the direction of exposure to the weather, and shows the effect of that weather on the walls – including moisture and heat transfer through the layers, with thousands of possible wall configurations. You can describe the wall layers in just a few moments. I organize those classes for ORNL, and our next class is in Chicago on October 7-9. We give this sophisticated program away for free, but we require you to come to the class to understand how to use this extremely powerful modeling tool. If you are interested, let me know and I will send you a brochure. Best regards, Barry G.
