This

toxic house and help a family which have been exposed to deadly toxic

mold. I found a summary from the site:

The Family

It wasn't easy for to bring relief to her

younger son, Keenan, who suffers from a rare cell disorder, asthma, as

well as allergies. It was all made worse by the dust and living mold in

their Arleta, California home. Doctors told that Keenan wouldn't

live to see his first birthday. Determined to not give up hope, ,

a florist by trade, turned to her herb garden to help Keenan deal with

his diseases. Keenan beat the odds and is now a strapping 16-year old

who wears a size 15 shoe and stands at 6 feet tall. Keenan has been

able to keep his health in check, but keeping the house hypo-allergenic

for him has been a problem. So, the team of Extreme Makeover: Home

Edition, made a house call. Their mission was to prescribe the

right antidote for Keenan by eradicating the black mold and providing a

healthy, new environment for the entire family.

Watch this Sunday, May 16, 8/7c on

ABC.

Wow! And on Monday morning there will be at least a 1000 telephone calls nationwide, to physicians and IAQ companies, from people convinced that the deadly toxic black mold is killing them. You could claim that programs like this are educational, informing the public of general problem, however, I believe they only spread hysteria among a public woefully ignorant of science and technology. It basically becomes a marketing tool for the deadly toxic black mold industrial complex. Ms Meier's web page MoldGoddess.com speaks for itself-

and Jim,

The sarcasm is well founded. Over the last 30 years in the

environmental area, I have seen people paniced, ripped off, defrauded

for thousands of dollars.

Two years ago, I was involved in the school district that was ripped off

on an false asbestos scare for $3,000,000. Over 300 air samples by TEM

showed no asbestos present in the buildings.

Mold paranoia is even easier to pull off because of all the

misinformation and disinformation on the web.

The lack of established standards in this country makes anyone an expert

and people simply are not smart enough to know the difference.

The said part is that these dishonest people make a ton of money and

then retire and disappear so there is no future liability.

Monday is going to be very interesting.

Don't forget you can go to the TV networks website and comment on the

content of the various programs. Perhaps if enough of us write in about

false and misleading information and tell them they may be liable -

they might pay more attention to science rather than propaganda.
