Guest guest Posted June 14, 2006 Report Posted June 14, 2006 Hi, my name is Sonya and I started making Kombucha tea about 3 months ago. The Kombucha I was given is very dark brown and only produces very thin babies. My father was visiting recently and I gave him two of them but they were also very thin. Does that mean he won´t be able to make decent tea either? Those that I have seen on the internet are always very white and big so I´ve started wondering if there´s something wrong. I´m using a combination of black and green teas and adding about 130g of white sugar per 1.5 litres of mineral water. I have washed the Kombucha twice under the tap and I read today that I shouldn´t have done that. Could you help me out? The final product tastes ok but not as good as my friend´s. Thanks for your attention! Quote
