Guest guest Posted August 8, 2006 Report Share Posted August 8, 2006 I live in CA, USA, and am interested. But what is the difference between regular Kefir grains, and the ones called Water Kefir? Are they even in the same family? Can they be interchanged, or are they so far apart, even in the same family, that one cannot be exchanged for the other? Here I'm speaking of the cultural procedures, water and milk. Do they taste the same, more or less, and what or which is the best? Or is it simply personal preference?
