Ha -- it's California -- you'll find one almost on every corner .

Actually, we had to laugh at ourselves because we had carefully mapped out

the Whole Foods Stores only to find numerous health food stores on almost

every route we took.

In Anaheim, there is a nice health food store that carries lots of gf/cf

stuff next door to a Ralph's supermarket (can't imagine why they named it

that) that also has some good health food stuff. It's on the opposite side

of the freeway (highway 5 if I recall) from Disneyland. I'm sorry I can't

remember the street name but it's just a few exits north of Disneyland and

has a Wal-Mart right at the freeway. If you do a websearch on Ralph's or

Krogers (owned by the same folks, aparantly) and the zip code where you'll be

staying, the address will come up pretty easily.

There is a really nice Whole Foods Store on Ventura Blvd about 3 miles west

from the doc's office too.

Oh, we went to Disneyland and they have great rides tons for those who don't

like the scary ones too. The line were really short when we were there

mid-Dec and anyone can use their tickets for a line reserve ahead of time and

come back during a certain period. That's the way to do the really popular

rides. They have it really well organized. The Haunted Christmas Spook

House was wonderful!

dont know about a " special permit " to use car pool lane. just have to have

two or more in veh. call whole foods market and see if they have a branch in

anaheim. they are growing!
