Guest guest
If anything, the part 2 is more interesting than the part 1. Kudos, Shweta. Kishore Shah 1974
Guest guest
Dear Shweta, That was fascinating. And to think we lead such sheltered existences! Anshu (1989)
Guest guest
Thanks a lot everyone.. And you r right Anshu mam,it does give you a totally different perspective...gives a lot to think about... I wish that we had been able to utilize the oppurtunity of being here for 1 yr in a better way, like visit other places in Korea..but we couldn't do that because of my husband's limited leave and my studies...but I'm glad we were able to go for this one..Also, if the unification process between the 2 countries goes smoothly then there might not b a DMZ in a few years.Let's all hope that happens... P.S- Gayatri, please don't call me ma'm..I'm only 1 batch senior...let's save it for other seniors ) Shweta'96 In mgims , " Shah " <shah123@v...> wrote: > If anything, the part 2 is more interesting than the part 1. Guest guest
Dear Shweta, Thanx for your vivid sight-seeing writeup!.I was waiting for the second part before writing anything but unlike Hindi movies, the second half of your write up was definitely more interesting and exciting. Its a job well done indeed! Regarding, the pictures,I think if you/your husband are included, you need not ask anybody......go for it!But if there are too many pictures of just the area and surroundings, courtesy damands ,we take a general opinion.Particularly,if there are any limited space issues involved for the photos' section-- may be Kishore can answer this better for all of us!We definitely want some pictures to supplement the wonerful DMZ-tour...... Neeti'86 PS:Another thing,Shweta, last week i received a mail from your hotmail account(not through the group) with an attachment and it had a virus.....! I know you have nothing to do with it coz' i received atleast 8/9 such virus infected mails(all from different/unknown hotmail accounts).Usually,if i get suspicious/infected mail from anybody,i try to report it to spoof@Yahoo-inc and delete it without even opening it. I'm not quite sure, but i think, that could be the reason for your problem of not getting any mails.....somebody is definitely misusing your email ID.My suggestion to you would be,try to get a new email ID.Well,it might work,it might not.....but atleast give it a try!........Good luck!! Guest guest
Dear Shweta, I cannot understand why denims and body piercing is not allowed. Or for that matter Flip flops? (Anyway, as long as bikinis are allowed, and as long as you send some photos, its okay! ) If you wish to post photos on the group web site, please post them in jpg format. We are of course waiting for them. There is a novel by Frederick Forsyth called " Avenger " . It describes the tunnels of Vietnam in great detail. It seems that a lot of these tunnels were booby trapped. Some had hot burning oil in them. Some had poisonous snakes in hollow bamboo sticks. Other tunnels ended in pointed stakes at the bottom with an escape route hidden a few feet above. Kishore Shah 1974
