Amulya (Nadu),

You are welcome.

The last time you wrote on this group was with your request for " Keema

mutter " , you just disappeared after that. I was wondering if you survived

your quest in the kitchen... :-D

Anyway, since you are here, and it feels nice that you are here, stay

here.... :-)

Hi, Ravin

Unlike Arnie I never went away. I disappeared into the wings waiting for the

appropriate cue while others held centre stage. I see this group like a

collection of people in an amphitheatre. We are all sitting in our place

listening to whoever is holding forth on the stage...sometimes its two/more

people having a conversation and they don't mind us eavesdropping even if its

personal stuff. You can leave your seat & join in whenever the topic jogs your

interest or you wish to make a comment...some stay there for a while; some (and

I probably belong to this group) return to their seat and it might be a while

before they step on to the stage. Unfortuantely quite a few seem to have left

the show.

I decided not to try the kheema (mince) stunt at Xmas but I did try you recipe

with a slight modification... I added a bit of yoghurt mainly because it was

quite hot and it actually turned out quite well. I have also tried out your

chilli chicken again with a slight modification...added some soya sauce (take

the pan off the flame first or it burns and sticks to the bottom). But made the

mistake of touching my eyes (in the process of removing my contact lenses)

despite your warning and paid the price. Since I was on a roll went ahead and

tried kolhapuri chicken (recipe from a book) as well but things have come to a

standstill. My cooking is a bit like my contribution to this group...sudden

bursts of activity followed by a long period of lethargy.
