Call Including Kids or get onto their website www.includingkids.org. They have a community outreach program and a social group. My son has attended there for three years. He is six. How old is your child. They also have the after tutoring school program. This is a private ABA school, but has the only community outreach program in the entire City of Houston that I know of. Contact me offlist if you need more help.

And where are all the places in Houston. I am so frusterated and am left w/out a place for my son! AND I started the hunt in JANUARY for the summer.AND Why can't people do more than a 1-2 hr social camp for our kids??Very frusterating!Anyone out there want to start our own Summer camp for what our kids need in Houston? (mainly kidding, and serious at the same time!!)I am abt to scream. My son had a bad day at the Therapudic Social camp I found right by our house that is 5 days a week from 9-5. BUT its not for Autistic kids specifically and they accepted him. Great, but now getting a feeling that its not. Praying for my son's name to come up on the Spectrum of Hopes waiting list he's on before next summer! And praying that someone opens a specific summer camp for our kids....WHAT WE NEED! These children use and understanding a higher level of language than the Preschool I Group. This group is focused on increasing language (use and understanding) as well as increasing socialization skills. Cost $1250Preschool III Group (ages 3½ - 6) Tuesday/Thursday 9:30 – 12:00This group is designed for children who are already familiar with the classroom and social rules of preschool. These children use and understand a higher level of language than both Preschool I and Preschool II Groups. This group is focused on increasing language (use and understanding), increasing higher level socialization skills, increasing pre-literacy skills and introduces early math skills. Cost $1250Just Play Group (ages 3 – 6) Friday 9:30 – 11:30This group is less structured than our Preschool Groups and focuses on increasing language (use and understanding) and socialization with peers through play (such as: Center Time, art, music, etc.). Cost $500Social Groups (ages 5 – 7) Wednesday 1:00 – 2:00These groups will be designed to fit their appropriate age groups. The ages for the two groups will be based on demand. The main focus of this group will be increasing socialization skills (such as: showing friends art work, taking turns, playing board/social games, working on conversational skills, etc.).
