Ring Bubble

Hi All,

I just made my new batch of kombucha for the week and found that I am

getting a inch wide ring around the whole scoby of bubble? Is the

funnest site, sorry no pic...like it swallowed a hoola hoop and half is

protruding out the bottom of the culture. The storage jar. The rest of

the

scoby is thick and smooth. Think it was there the last time but

smaller.

Hi Audrey!

This happened with me not too long ago as well. I eventually had to " pop " the

air bubble because it was pushing my Scoby to the top of the jar. I think

everything is ok, though.

Oh, my...I was wondering if I should pop it. Logical.
